What is Organic Eat?

Organic Eat is family own a small business located in northern suburbs of
Melbourne. We love to cook. I being a chef in hospitality industry for the last 14 years and work using organic food business for past 9 years . We are very passionate to get organic produce to the community and help them enjoy organic goods .which are very healthy ,delicious environment sustain and more nutritious . Help to community to enjoy organic produce in a reasonable price. So to organise .and deliver organic goods. I left my full-time job as a chef. And open Organic EAT to give most of my experience and values about organic to the community so everyone can get benefit of using organic produce.

Where do you source your fruit and veg from?

We carefully source mostly Biodynamic and organic wholesalers, Bio-dynamic, Melba fresh organic and thirdly pure organic harvest are our main wholesalers ,We
also buy selected produce through wholesale agents at Melbourne market located in Epping. All of our fruit and vegetables are from Australian farms with the relevant organic certification.

How do I know it is genuine organic products?

All of our fruit and vegetables are from Australian farms with the relevant organic
certification.

Delivery:

Where do we deliver?

We deliver around, inner city, Eastern, Northern, Southern suburbs of Melbourne.
You can check by using your postcode on our system.

Is there a minimum order?

Yes we have a $50 minimum for all orders.

How much is the delivery fee?

Flat rate shipping $12.95, Discounted shipping of $8.95 for weekly and fortnightly
subscriptions .And free delivery for all orders over $80.

Can I pick up my order from your distribution centre?

We are an entirely online social enterprise. All our organic groceries are delivered
directly to your front door, with free delivery over $80.

Will my fridge items stay nice and cold?

Yes, we delivered all our refrigerated goods, packed inside our cool room and
delivered cold. With the food safety temperature checked.

Order:

What time do I have to place my order by?

Order cutoff is midnight Saturday for Monday delivery and midnight Tuesday for
Thursday delivery.

What day will my delivery arrive?

We deliver between 8am -5 pm . You will know your approximate 2 hour delivery
period .we will notify you by text the day before the delivery.

What if I am not home when my delivery arrives?

You don’t have to be home, just let us know of the best spot to leave your box,,All our deliveries are contactless and will be left unattended at your front door, unless an alternative location is advised in the delivery instruction. A confirmation text is sent once your order is delivered.

Why didn't I receive the items I have ordered?

We only visit the Wholesale Fruit Vegetable market twice in a week on Monday and Thursday, where fresh produce comes in overnight from the farms. Sometimes when we get there early in the morning at 3:00am some of the fruit and veg has not arrived due to various reasons like weather conditions, traffic, trucks etc. Sometimes we are unable to get the fruit and veg that we want. Even though items
are listed as available at the markets, sometimes they don’t arrive due to weather. If it is missing from your order, you will receive a little note informing you regarding the item/s unavailable. You will be given a store credit via email. Please note if you wish to request a refund for your missing items please send us an email sales@organiceat.com.au or call our office on 0423687143 and one of our friendly
office staff will kindly assist.

Can I substitute something if the items I ordered are unavailable?

If you wish to substitute an item that is not available you can request so in your order notes. Items can only be substituted with items of the same value. Fruit and veg can only be substituted for fruit and veg.

Can I make my order over the phone instead of online?

If you are having trouble with online ordering, please feel free to call us and we will
happily assist you as best we can.

What if I am not happy with an order?

If you have any quality issues please contact us promptly and we will happily resolve it with you. We may be able to redeliver, or provide a credit or refund.

How do I cancel/modify/change my subscription?
